Kayo Shido, originally from Japan, has spent over three decades cementing her reputation in the art spheres of New York and LA. Since 2014, Kayo's masterpieces have adorned exhibits from New York to Miami and even as far afield as Spain. Claire happened upon Kayos' artwork on a chance encounter while walking along the Bowery in New York City. She instantly fell in love with Kayos emotionally expressive artwork. It's full of interesting layers, colors, and linework.

For PARDINGTON COLLECTIVE’s very first collection, they came together to design an original, beautiful lining for our classic woman’s blazer, as well as, offer the original artwork born from the collaboration for sale. With Kayo's talent for fine art and Claire's eye for style, this partnership truly represents what Claire hoped to achieve with this brand: beautiful things and meaningful collaborations.
