I have heard from so many of my current supporters and followers that you want to see more behind the scenes footage to see what it is my team and I do everyday, as well as, what it takes to build a brand from scratch. I’m excited to introduce our Building the Brand and Rough Cuts series! They are both a look behind the scenes: Building the Brand is a 1-3 minute tailored explanation of an important part of the creation process that happens every season, while Rough Cuts is 30 seconds- 1 minute of raw footage that captures a specific moment or a day in the life of building a global brand and business. As you would expect from me- I will always keep it honest and raw. This is my life’s passion and to do it justice, I try to keep all ego and pretense out of it. My hope with these series is that you not only get interesting content to watch, but that you grow with my brand and be there to witness and support all of it’s (and my) wins and fails!
For the first episode of Building the Brand, we captured my design process and how I think through a collection. It is my favorite part of the design process because I get to put all my ideas on paper and build a complete story around the collection. *FUN FACT*: I learned how to edit video footage and music so I could put these videos together for you!
